The beginning of the new year brings key changes in the structure of the Management Board of Plast-Box S.A., a leading manufacturer of plastic packaging. The company’s Supervisory Board appointed two members of the Management Board, expanding the current one-person composition represented by President Grzegorz Pawlak. As of January 1, 2023, Adam Pawlak and Artur R. Skonieczny became members of the Management Board. The expansion of business structures is a natural consequence of the Group’s dynamic development strategy and serves primarily to increase the efficiency in managing its entities.
The new members of the Management Board perform key managerial functions in Plast-Box and will continue to perform their duties in this respect. Adam Pawlak with Plast-Box S.A. has been associated almost from the beginning of its existence. He specialized in the development and management of IT structures. In 2016, he took the position of Production Director, and in 2021 he became the Operations Director and Investment and Development Director of the Plast Box Group. Artur R. Skonieczny has been associated with Plast-Box since 2001. He has held managerial functions in the company since 2003. During this time, he built and developed the entire structure of export sales. In 2020, he took the position of Commercial Director of the Plast Box Group.
Grzegorz Pawlak, who will represent the Management Board for the next term as President, is a manager with passion and many years of experience in managing companies, projects, and business processes. He is the founder and shareholder of Plast-Box S.A. He says about the structural changes: – They are another natural step in the development of the Group. We are a large, international company with a huge potential that we want to use effectively. Providing the Management Board with the experience and knowledge of trusted managers will allow us to achieve this goal quickly. Skonieczny will translate into further, dynamic development of the company, both in Poland and abroad.
The extension of the Management Board of Plast-Box should help in the effective management of various areas of a rapidly growing company with an international character. Grzegorz Pawlak adds that these changes result from the need to adapt the current structure of the company to the scale of business. – Thanks to the new people in the composition of the Management Board, we will significantly shorten the decision-making processes, and at the same time we will unify the supervisory structures throughout the Group – he adds.
In the last quarter of 2022, the Plast-Box Group finalized the acquisition of Grupa Suwary S.A. based on an investment agreement. Even before the end of the year, on December 28, 2022, there were changes in the composition of the Company’s Management Board. Grzegorz Pawlak, President of the Management Board, resigned from his function in the Management Board. Krzysztof Kmita, who has been associated with Plast-Box since 2008, was appointed to this position. Since 2012, he has been the company’s, Financial Director. He effectively manages risk and vigilantly supervises the implementation of business results of the Plast Box Group. For a long time, he supported the Management Board in making strategic decisions aimed at the consistent development of companies.
