Plast-Box S.A., a well-known European manufacturer of plastic packaging, received a BRC Certificate, one of the most prestigious certificates in the world with respect to food quality and safety, awarded by the independent organisation British Retail Consortium.
“We invest in quality,” says Grzegorz Pawlak, President of the Management Board Plast-Box S.A. “Many years of experience helped us develop a quality control system that is required to produce top quality packaging for food industry. We have enhanced our production systems by implementing a new management system. We have identified a number of requirements that our organisation should meet in order to ensure top quality and safety of the products we offer. We were granted the BRC Certificate of the highest “A” category, awarded to companies that meet the strictest security standards. We want to provide a high safety level for the customers of Plast-Box at all stages of the manufacturing process,” he says.
BRC is an international food safety standard that specifies the requirements related to facility and production hygiene, and the quality assurance system that are all aimed at generating safe products that are compliant with the applicable quality requirements. The BRC Certificate held by the company is an assurance of top quality, legality, repeatability and safety of products manufactured for contact with food.
Plast-Box sells packaging in the B2B formula to international large companies and other smaller buyers. It provides its products primarily to food industry. The core products include technologically advanced closed buckets to store smaller retail food products (e.g. ice cream, sweets, candies, salads) as well as ready-made food and semi-finished products on a wholesale basis, supplied to restaurants, bakeries, processing facilities or used in agriculture.
Plast-Box was set up in 1983 and since 2004 it has been listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. The Company operates factories in Poland and Ukraine where it uses machines and technologies of the best global producers – as a result it is recognised as one of most modern manufacturers of hard plastic packaging in Europe.
